ZXY1590 is a studio-grade audio transformer based on a fully symmetrical balanced topology. 3. Advantages

By splitting both primary and secondary into two identical and isolated windings, the ZXY1590 is a truly balanced design rather than just a four-pin transformer. Interference arriving simultaneously on both conductors of a balanced line is treated as common-mode signal and suppressed: with a CMRR greater than 60 dB at 50/60 Hz, hum and noise picked up during cable transmission are largely eliminated before entering the next stage.

The fully enclosed, high-permeability metal shell shields against external EMI/RFI and prevents internal magnetic fields from leaking to affect nearby sensitive circuits. Inside the shell, the windings are mechanically protected, and standard PCB pins allow direct soldering onto circuit boards.

From 20 Hz to 20 kHz, the response remains within ± 0.5 dB, and total harmonic distortion is below 0.1% at rated level, so the transformer adds no audible coloration. Electrical isolation breaks the ground loop between two devices, eliminating ground-loop hum, while impedance matching ensures correct signal levels on both sides.
